G36 decision

i'm looking to buy my first airsoft gun and after looking on the Internet I keep finding myself being drawn to g36's. My friend has decided to start with me and we will be going to an indoor cqb place for a while and then may start going to a wooded place. Don't know much about either. Will be going to cqb place on Thursday.
So anyway I'll have about 300 to spend i reckon possibly a small bit more. Anyway here are the guns I was looking at:
JG G36C-€160
JG G36K-€170
KWA G36C-€239.99
opinions? Good price?
would also be looking at the kwa k version but none of the Irish sites seem to have it. The rest of the money will go to things like accessories and the like.
Do silencers actually work on airsoft guns?
I want something that is tough and durable as it will most likely get a knock of some sort.
Thanks

I would heartily recommend going out and having a look and testing a few different RIF's before splurging as you may find something else you like.

When stepping into airsoft, you just have to realise that MOST guns will handle either very alike, or practically the same. Unless you're spending double what you've wrote there, most guns will be alike. ( Guns will start to differ at £200 or so). What it all comes down to in the end of the day, is what it looks like.
JG are a good make. Very reliable and are becoming as good a quality as higher end manufactures on the market. The G36 C and K are the same gun, minus that the JG G36K has a built in sight ( x1.5 i think ). I havent had any KWA guns or had experance with them, so i think its up to someone else to answer on that.
As for prices, their maybe a just touch high. By using google, i got that 170 euros is around £155. I got my JG G36K around a year ago at £140 ( or 155 euro) . It's not alot , but its 15 odd quid better off in your pocket. Try shopping around a bit and compare prices.
You said that the rest of the money is going towards Add-ons. On this, i say that you should go for the G36C. Only reason for this is that it gives you a bit of sway for different types of optics ( Red dot, EoTech ect.) Also - For starting indoors, the shorter gun will act as an advantage.
Finally - Silencers do work on SOME Airsoft guns. However, most of these will be on gas guns. Most of the sound out of an electric gun is the motor and cogs spinning, so this cant be silenced as much. On a gas gun ( Pistols or GBB ), the shooting of the BB comes from the gas workings; so no motor or sound ( as such)
Like i said - For indoors starting and for addons, go for the JG G36C. Its a nice gun for indoor combat, and will also be a nice weapon outdoors.
Good luck!

I can't really shop around that much as I'm under 18 so am limited to Irish websites. There is a store in the same area as the cqb place (it's a commercial place) so I'll ask him bout it there.
I did have a look at the TM but it was a bit too pricy.
You were saying about the attachments, what is an Eotech? I'm presuming it's some sort of sight?
Thanks

good sights because in theory it doesnt matter where you look at it from, the dot is always zeroed in on the same place, whereas some sights will vary slightly depending on the angle you look at, so you need to try and make sure its set up for your normal head position

With that sorta money i'd agree with the others and get the G36C with some accessories like an scope. My suggestion would be go to a site and look at some other guns and sights and see what you like.
With a G36 id go for a red dot/holographic.
My AUG was around 130... 170 seems a bit steep, shop around.

Yea same here Bersy waiting for someone to review the new SRC range. Now back on track ... I've used the TM G36C its good excellent build quality, very accurate and reliable from what I've been told from its owner. Like BWP said earlier they may not be the most powerful gun in the world but still an amazing gun all together.
Right next subject the eotech I find them quite good, much better than reflex sights (had bad experiances with them, smashed within three skirmishes :( )

This is a review of the src g36c, it compares it to the jg one.

Does anyone know what the fps is? I read somewhere that it was 350 and I know the legal limit is 328.
Would this be too powerful for cqb?
Anyone know where I could get this in Ireland? It's cheaper on airsoftscotland then the jg is on MIA.
I think I agree with JT on that Marui.
